Paint Drying
We have been involved in the automotive paint drying industry for over 30 years.
We work with manufacturers, smart repair companies and everyone in between.
Infrared technology is a great source for drying paint and lacquers applied to a vehicle. We have a number of product options including fully installed units, large mobile units and small hand held fittings for small drying requirements.
We have also developed UV LED systems that can dry the paint in an incredibly short period of time.
Spraybooths
Infrared technology is an incredibly effective and efficient way of curing paints and lacquers.
At Victory, we have vast experience in this field and can work with yourselves to create an Infrared integrated spray booth.
These can be used for aerospace, automotive industry and many others and is a much cheaper option to oil and gas as well as dramatically reducing your curing time.
We can create a bespoke spray booth or happy to upgrade and retrofit your current booth
Re-Activating of Adhesives on Glass
Adhesives need to be re-activated or undergo a drying process.
Infrared heat is the most efficient way of re-activating adhesives for many industries including the glass industry.
The speed at which Infrared heat can carry out this process will give you significant production advantages as well as the consistent output allows the quality of the re-activation to be the best it can possibly be.
We can work with yourselves to carry out tests and trials to ensure the best tailor-made solution is created.
Alloys/Car Wheels
The alloys on car wheels typically need to be coated or lacquered, Infrared heat is a great option to use during this process.
To allow the lacquer to dry naturally can take a very long time but with the use of Infrared technology you have the option of reducing your drying time by up to 80% given the correct installation.
We can offer a standard IR stand-alone unit or create a bespoke customised solution as an integrated part of your current system.
Lacquer Drying
Infrared heating technology has significant advantages to lacquer drying in comparison to industry alternatives.
Water-based lacquers can take a long time to dry naturally or even with a hot air system, short-wave infrared can dramatically reduce the time taken to drying the lacquer which then allows you to complete a lot ore in this time.
The controllability and consistent heat output gives a better finish than if you are using the alternatives.
We can offer standardised units, both mobile and hand held, as well as integrated units as part of your production line or even incorporated within an existing system such as a spray booth.
Airbag Manufacturing
The quality of manufactured airbags is critical in the event of a crash and for this reason alone is why we have worked with various manufacturers to improve their production process using Infrared heat.
The nylon material needs to undergo a pre-heating process that is involved with the silicone coating on the bag that allows it to unfold fully when required. Infrared is the quickest and has the most consistent heat output of all the alternative sources.
